distributed throughout the duration of ‘Four Beats to Freedom’.

packhorse – hence in all photographs.
Main Sponsor may name the horses.
Main Sponsor will feature the on every
page of the expedition web-site, with links

- To be included in all publicity
material at all promotional events.
- Links to Key Sponsors will be included
in the expedition web-site.
Sponsorship of individual items of
equipment: iro £250 - £500
- The sponsor’s name will be clearly
written on the item
- Sponsors will appear in the roll of
honour which will be displayed at all events and on the website,
with links.
Sponsorship in kind:
- Sponsors will feature as individual or
key sponsors depending on the value of the gift.
- They may brand mark the items as they
wish to identify themselves as the donor.
- Manufacturers and brand names will
feature in the web-site, with links to the sponsor’s site.
Individual sponsors: Donations as
an outright expression of goodwill and support:
- Donors to feature in roll of honour

- Corporate Donations of £50 + will
have their website address included in the list of sponsors.
Mary is paying her own expedition costs.
With the exception of administrative expenditure, all monies raised will
be directed to charity. Sponsors may defer actual payment until the the
next tax year if preferred.

Zealand tourism sites, Equestrian sites, and through international
search engines. Close contact will be maintained, thanks to a Satellite
phone, provided by Leeds United Football Club United Kingdom
In negotiation with national, regional
and local media and equestrian press to ensure a spread of features both
during the ride and at the end.
Programme of speaking engagements and
presentations on return New Zealand
Sponsorship funds in New Zealand will be
directed to the Riding for the Disabled Association
Commitment from the national Equestrian
magazine to cover the event, guaranteed local, regional and national
interest as a result of including local riders with disabilities.
Negotiations underway to get regular
coverage on evening television
The Equine Studies Department of the
Waikato Institute of Technology is supporting Mary's journey by
providing a a ground crew and bus.
Promotional events to include:
- Send off by Mayor at
Invercargill – TV and media already committed,
- Reception at vineyard in Wairau
Valley, near Blenheim (tbc)
- Event at British Consulate (tbc)
in Wellington
- Promotion at Auckland Easter
show
- Promotional days en route
including Wanganui, Hamilton, Whangarei,
Donations and Payments: Cheques may

Alma Avenue, Foulridge, Blackburn, Lancs, BB8 7NS in the U.K.. In order to gain tax
advantage from charitable giving sponsors may, alternatively, make gifts
payable direct to either or both beneficiary charities and mail to the
