WE REACHED CAPE REINGA AT 1.45 TODAY -
WEDNESDAY 29 MAY!!
The weather was filthy with a howling
wind, but the occasion was memorable. All four of us are
in excellent form - Jacko a little soggy but he's drying out - and are
considering our respective futures!
We will all get writing our updates once
we have eaten, slept, dried out, and come down off cloud nine....

News flash
from Mary ... SOUTH ISLAND COMPLETED
After a very wet couple of weeks we reached Blenheim for the weekend. Two fit happy horses, a little weary from the road but nothing that a little serious eating could not put right, one rather dusty bear and a very smelly person....A great feeling of achievement to have us all here in good health - and a sense of
''where did the time go?'
A full update will go up next week - I have only just got the computer back from Its travels and the next few days are a bit frantic since we have a BIG ENGAGEMENT at the WELLINGTON CUP RACE MEETING on
Saturday 26th January. We are actually leading out the runners for the parade... Boris cant believe that any horse can get given so much food for carrying such a little weight over such a short distance, but he has agreed to have a shampoo and set for the occasion...
We go on from Wellington over the Rimutakas on 2nd February.Come back for the full update next
